NWS Reports Five Tornadoes in the Friday During Friday's Outbreak
The National Weather Service in Hastings issued a report followed the weather outbreak on Friday.
A tornado affected the Ravenna, NE area of Buffalo County on Friday, April 26th. Another tornado affected the Rockville, NE area of Sherman county on April 26th. Both of these tornadoes were rated EF1.
An EF3 tornado affected the Farwell and Elba, NE areas of Howard county on April 26th. This was the strongest tornado to impact the NWS Hastings coverage area on April 26th.
An EF2 tornado affected areas to the west and north of Wolbach, NE in Howard and Greeley Counties. This tornado grew to around 1/2 a mile wide! Another tornado crossed from Greeley County into Boone County, however details about this tornado are still being finalized and will be released when completed.
