GI Woman's Charge Upgraded

In the case of the Child Abuse of the 2 month old infant that occurred on 4/22/24, the suspect Bianca Rivera Lima (27 years old from Grand Island), will be in court this morning at 11am as the Hall County Attorney’s Office is amending the original charge of Child Abuse resulting in Serious Bodily Injury, to Child Abuse Resulting in Death.  Life support was removed from the child over the weekend and the child succumbed to injuries suffered in the original incident.  The investigation is still ongoing and results of the autopsy ordered by the Hall County Attorney, will not be available for several weeks.
